DCMI aligns with ASIS&T

2015, DCMI entered
In 2015, DCMI entered into a partnership with the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T). DCMI became a project of ASIS&T (a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit)dublincore.org, allowing it to leverage ASIS&T’s organizational infrastructure. This move improved DCMI’s sustainability—donations could be handled via ASIS&T, and DCMI gained broader visibility in the information science community. The affiliation was reflected in co-branded activities like joint webinars and helped DCMI focus on its mission while administrative support was provided by ASIS&T.
