W3C DCAT Recommendation (uses DC Terms)

DCAT, an RDF
The World Wide Web Consortium published the Data Catalog Vocabulary (DCAT) as a W3C Recommendation in January 2014. DCAT, an RDF vocabulary for open data catalogs, makes extensive use of Dublin Core Terms (dct:) for key properties (such as title, description, publisher, etc.)w3.org. This cross-standard adoption helped solidify DC Terms as part of the linked data ecosystem for open data.
