Singapore Framework for DC Application Profiles

At the DC-2007 conference in Singapore (Aug 27–31, 2007), DCMI introduced the Singapore Framework for Dublin Core Application Profilesdublincore.org. This framework defines the components needed to document a metadata application profile (including functional requirements, domain model, description set profile, usage guidelines, etc.) and was designed to maximize interoperability and reusability of domain-specific metadata schemasdublincore.org. The Singapore Framework became a cornerstone for developing and reviewing DC application profiles in various sectors.
